Champions! The basketball team “Oplati” became the winner of the republican Non-professional Basketball League (D4). The competition has been running since October last year. 12 teams competed for the title of the best, but it was PAY that managed to show the highest level of play.

Starting from the second place in the regular season standings, our team continued to compete in the playoffs (up to two wins) among the top eight teams.

In the quarterfinals, “Oplati “, following the results of two meetings, took revenge on the team they lost to in the regular season. I especially remember the semi-final, when Oplati performed a real feat, scoring 12 points in 51 seconds and winning with a score of 80-79, advancing to the finals!

The second match of the final was the most difficult. The fight was very intense. The leadership changed throughout the match. Nevertheless, thanks to coordinated actions and the will to win, our athletes became winners.
