RuDADOMU.BY Online Portal Celebrates Its Anniversary on Mother’s Day — 11 Years of Helping Children Find Families
More than 5,000 children have found families thanks to DADOMU.BY — an online portal developed and maintained by LWO.
It is especially symbolic that DADOMU.BY celebrates its anniversary on October 14 — Mother’s Day, one of the warmest and most heartfelt holidays. For 11 years, the portal has helped children with difficult life stories find a home, a family, and loving parents.
The initiative to create DADOMU.BY began in 2013, with the support of a public organization. Invaluable assistance during the project’s launch was provided by the leadership of the National Bank and the Belarusian Women’s Union. It was then that our company, LWO, was invited to contribute to the project.
LWO’s team took on the full development of the portal using its own resources and has continued to maintain and support the platform throughout the years.
Since its launch, DADOMU.BY has gained wide popularity among Belarusians. More than 42,000 users have registered on the portal to date, with annual growth of 3,000 to 4,000 new users.
This project is a shining example of how a good cause can bring together people from different professions and walks of life — all united by one goal: to ensure that every child in Belarus experiences parental love, a family, and a home.
Ordinary people play a key role in making this mission possible — adoptive parents, guardians, foster families, and caregivers from family-type children’s homes — all of whom believe that raising children is a deeply personal, family-centered endeavor.
